New beginnings, Die Unbeugsamen & something yum from Berlin
Wellll,…hello everyone!
- it’s been a while!
The last newsletter, I published this February and let me tell you - boy oh boy - it’s been a hell of a ride! I got pregnant in the meantime, had a darling baby girl in September and life has not been the same ever since. An overwhelming year of adapting to new challenges, a body that changed its form over and over again, an emotional rollercoaster and the realisation (once again) that I cannot handle everything, I so deliberately put on my shoulders in the past. Fun stuff I loved all of a sudden felt like a burden and I had to cut corners. My initial reaction was guilt - taking my newsletter as an example - as I thought I’m letting you, the reader, down by not sending out my weekly mood board and by disappearing without saying goodbye. But I felt something different as well: a weight was lifting, that felt tremendously freeing in that moment.
But after having many lovely conversations over the course of summer, where friends, acquaintances and even strangers asked me whether I’m going to continue to write THE GOOD MOOD BOARD, my immediate reaction was always “yes!” without a doubt in my mind. But you know how it is, starting something (again) is the hardest thing in the world. And it took another couple of months until I was able to remember the warm & powerful energy this project gave me initially. So - without further ado: Let’s continue this journey together!
