The exhibition Now You See Us: Women Artists in Britain 1520-1920 highlights the journeys of pioneering women artists who paved the way for future generations. Spanning from the Tudor era to the First World War, the show challenges conventional stereotypes in art history. It showcases the stories of women who fought for access to artistic education, defied norms by pursuing commercial careers, and boldly tackled subjects traditionally reserved for male artists - such as historical events, battle scenes, and the nude.
