LE CHIC: Spring Reset
A guide to lightness, energy, and editing your days
Dear friends,
Reporting from Berlin: the cherry trees are in bloom.
There’s a tree on Ryckestraße, in Prenzlauer Berg, that marks the shift for me every year. The moment it blossoms, winter feels resolved. A quiet confirmation that something has changed. Every year, I find myself leaning into that shift. Not in a dramatic, “new season, new life” kind of way – more a subtle recalibration. A slight change in how I move through my days, what I reach for, what I suddenly no longer need.
I’ve been thinking about the idea of a spring reset. Not as a hard restart, but something softer. A gradual shift that happens almost on its own. You begin to want different things: lighter fabrics, open windows, longer walks, fresher food. What follows is a collection of what feels particularly right in this moment.
LE CHIC: Spring Reset. Small rituals, a few things I wear, objects, habits, observations – a way of moving into the season with a bit more intention, and a lot more lightness.
Lots of love,
Franzi
Light & Energy
Morning light, no alarm needed anymore
Walking more, leaving 10 min earlier to get your steps in
Coffee outside (finally)
Sitting in the sun for a business call
A slower start, but a longer day
Leaving the house without checking the weather first
That first day you don’t need a coat – and slightly regret it
Music sounding better again
Rituals & Rhythm
Hitting the gym in the AM
Farmers markets are fun again
First iced coffee
Reading outside
Rediscovering your own city (trip to Brücke Museum, or the Brancusi exhibition at Neue Nationalgalerie are planned)
Walking without a destination again
And taking a longer route home
Running errands that somehow turn into half a day outside
That first moment Berlin feels… actually nice
