It feels like Groundhog Day: the next weekend is approaching, and we find ourselves without any plans - the same breakfast, the same routines, and the same everything. It’s time to change that! Let’s indulge in a faux vacation and treat ourselves to a day that feels like a well-deserved holiday. Imagine savoring delicious cuisine, donning an outfit that gives vacation vibes, enjoying a movie, indulging in self-care, and more, which will make you feel refreshed and recharged, ready to tackle the week ahead with renewed energy.
Lots of love,
Franzi
LET’S START WITH BREAKFAST
Treat yourself to a spectacular breakfast at a fantastic brunch place nearby. Bring a magazine, your bestie, or simply make the most amazing pancakes you’ve ever had.
READ A BOOK (OR ENJOY THE PICTURES)
A good read or browsing through pages of pure aesthetic is essential on a fake vacation. My top three books/magazines recommendations are:
CBK: Carolyn Bessette Kennedy: A Life in Fashion II Francoise Gilot: Leben mit Picasso II CABANA Magazine N° 18
DRESS LIKE YOUR VACAY ALTER EGO
During our holidays, we dress differently - we shed the black, the monochrome look, and add materials and colors that we usually never wear (I LOVE my vacation alter ego). It’s fantastic and so incredibly life-affirming, so let’s just go for it in our everyday life!
