A quick hello to all the new readers – so happy you’re here!
Since quite a few of you have joined recently, a little note from me: I started THE GOOD MOOD BOARD as a creative space to collect, curate, and share the things that make me pause mid-scroll – fashion, beauty, interiors, photography, and the occasional hyperfixation. Think of this newsletter as part visual diary, part style guide – just good taste, good finds, and a little breather from the chaos. And now, back to the regular programming <3
A staccato wrap-up of last week!
WROTE what turned out to be my most-read newsletter ever. *The* Summer Capsule Guide is a flexible, mix-and-match wardrobe plan for the season, packed with 350+ pieces – from white tanks and linen shirts to tailored shorts, leather sandals, that forever-chic basket bag, breezy dresses, and more. It was genuinely so fun to create… and now I want to shop everything myself. BTW: Part II (with many many outfit ideas built from the capsule) lands tomorrow!
ATE far too much ice cream this past week and somehow re-discovered frozen yoghurt as the most delicious form of “healthy” indulgence (or am I just fooling myself?).
WAS LEFT TOTALLY CONFUSED by the first stills from Ryan Murphy’s new series about the love story of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and JFK Jr. The styling, the hair (what is happening?!), the makeup… it’s just not giving CBK perfection. Where is the 90s Calvin Klein, Prada, and Yohji Yamamoto energy? Judging by the comments, I’m not alone.
OBSESSED with Jelly – a new furniture label that just launched. Everything is 3D printed and looks like glossy, oversized honey sweets. So, so good. You can check them out here.
WENT to the Susanne Kaufmann x Diptyque launch at Chateau Royal in Berlin. The two brands teamed up on a lip oil that smells like citrus and mint and I’m fully on board.
CURRENTLY LOVE sheer organza skirts and trousers. The obsession started (naturally) with Khaite, but I’m on the lookout for more budget-friendly options to style for summer drinks – think: patent leather sandals, an oversized linen shirt, and a tiny, perfect bag. Got a hidden gem? Help a girl out.
WORE an outfit that could be straight from the capsule guide: Chanel ballerinas, the “Nikka” jeans by Closed (on sale now!), earrings from Lie Studio, an Arket linen shirt, Celine sunnies, and a raffia bag I picked up at the local farmer’s market for 15€ ten years ago. If you're looking for something similar, Etsy has tons.
SANG ALONG to "Last Night" by Dabeull & Jordan Lee – on repeat, obviously. Summerrrrr vibes!
RECEIVED so many DMs about the top I’m wearing in this Insta reel – it’s H&M but totally giving TOTEME energy.
