A staccato wrap-up of last week!
STILL DREAMING about Milan. My finds, moods, and outfits are all on Insta – peep them here on Instagram.
DRANK a Negroni at Bar Basso. Iconic. Chic chaos. Cheers!
ATE the tiniest, most perfect breakfast – cappuccino + cornetto – at Marchesi on Via Santa Maria alla Porta. Surrounded by well-dressed Italians popping in and out for the exact same reason I was there. Oh, and it’s *the* place to grab chocolates for your loved ones.
WORE that go-to Filippa K blazer, a cashmere polo jumper (similar here), a tee from Aimé Leon Dore (borrowed/stolen from my husband), my Loewe bag I bought in 2022 (find pre-loved versions here), old Zara linen trousers (similar ones here), Chanel ballerinas (pre-loved here), and Celine sunnies.
OBSESSING over pillbox hats at the moment. Three brands absolutely killing it: Paris based Maison Krasnova, Maison Ola by Maria de la Orden, and Gigi Burris. Currently eyeing this one (would be super cute for summer), this one, and this one.
READ ‘Chic but not snob’ via HTSI (Financial Times) – a dreamy look into Emiliano Salci’s world and the vintage-luxe cool of Dimorestudio. Vibe overload.
RECREATED this Lebanese Kafta Laffeh recipe (you can also use a simple pan) but swapped the tahini cabbage for romaine salad. 10/10. Easy, fresh, addictive.
WROTE about the incredible style of Milanese women – seriously, unreal. It left a lasting impression. Check out my article “Style à la Milanese” and the 50 (!) inspiring pieces I rounded up here.
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
Lots of love,
Franzi
