A staccato wrap-up of last week!
WROTE about the best of the summer sale 2025. I’m very tempted to get my hands on a bunch of pieces from the 50+ items I curated. Especially the picks from Toteme, Róhe, and COS – to die for. Shop “THE SALE EDIT” here.
ATE breakfast at Manzini, one of my favourite spots in West Berlin. But my list of places to try is growing dangerously long... Café Tiergarten, Onette, and so many more are calling.
STILL THINKING ABOUT this Róhe jacket. The price tag is a major turn-off, to be honest – and with so many beautiful things waiting in this year’s summer sale, I probably won’t go for it. But still... I can’t get it out of my head.
WATCHED (finally started) “Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy” – a docu-series exploring the deep connections between Italy’s landscapes, people, and the food they cherish. Equal parts soothing and delicious.

STUMLED UPON the brand Lorna Murray. I’ve clearly been living under a rock – but I’m completely in love. Lorna Murray blends artisanal craftsmanship with effortless elegance, creating sun-ready pieces that are as sustainable as they are stylish. Foldable, breathable, beautifully made. Especially the hats... my heart skipped a beat.
FOLLOWED Sam Salter. You’re welcome.
WORE Filippa K trousers, black Chanel ballerinas, my favourite COS tee, this Dragon Diffusion bag, the “Danea” necklace by Sézane (sadly sold out, but a similar one is linked), and a trenchcoat by Brioni (alternatives here and here).
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
Lots of love,
Franzi
