Everything I wore, wanted, and refused to feel guilty about in June.
Dear friends,
Currently living in linen shorts and wide tops. The heatwave hit Berlin the past weekend and I’m sitting here with all the windows open, enjoying something one could describe as a breeze with a lot of imagination. Iced coffee in hand, obviously.
Went through my camera roll expecting a quiet month and found the opposite – lots of work, writing, organising (July is moving month, send help), late nights that weren’t intentional, just too hot to sleep. But I also enjoyed getting dressed more with the lighter temperatures, which apparently shows – I took about three times as many outfit photos as usual. Let’s jump right into my June Dispatch!

This top is everything my whimsical brain craved – trying really hard to strictly block this side of me out, but it's there and during summer it's thriving. The Tonya top by Sézane (currently sold out) – this one is giving the same vibe.
One of my favourite places in my extended neighbourhood. Acid Cafe at Teutoburger Platz. THE best cardamom bullar in Berlin. Fight me.

Stay hydrated! Wearing an Arket boat neck top that has been living in my closet forever, Arket barrel leg trousers (unironed. Give this woman a break), my Toteme bag (on sale in a suede version here) and Hermès sandals.

Wrote a piece about THE SUMMER CAPSULE 2026 – STYLED, the follow-up to the capsule wardrobe guide. This time I actually put the pieces together – outfits for every summer-in-the-city occasion, all of them chic, none of them trendy. Because nobody needs another "trend" by August.

YUM || Dusted off my Tiffany bracelet I got for my 18th birthday. Apparently we're wearing these again? || The light in my flat at 5:45 AM when my daughter decided it's time to wake up!
Cannot stop thinking about cool canvas totes. Obviously I love the one by Toteme, but the wonderful Hermès Toto – vintage via Vestiaire is in a league of its own. And cheaper.
Had the chance to test the Clean Volume Mascara by Merit in brown and finally putting on mascara (and off) is fun again. You can basically just peel it off with warm water. This lazy girl says merci!
Earlier this month I made the case for a JACKIE O SUMMER. Five locations, five moods: the headscarf, the travel look, New York Jackie, Mediterranean dolce vita. Big sunglasses, the original Gucci bag, not a pillbox hat in sight. After years of doing quiet luxury so well it nearly went quiet entirely, this felt like permission to want a bit of colour again. Yes. I bought these Massimo Dutti shoes that are clearly ripping off The Row. Do I feel guilty? A little. Does my bank account? Nope. Be quick, they sell out super quickly. Pro tip: bring them to the shoe maker straight away and ask them to glue in a thin strip of leather where the toes are to prevent them from poking out.
Spent Monday evening at the Reethaus, Champagne in hand, for Krug's music tasting experience – each pour paired with a piece of Max Richter. What a combo. Wore a fantastic linen set by Donni for the occasion (trousers and shirt) – love me some colour from time to time.
Took this picture in this cute outfit wondering if I should post it to Instagram because I'm so pale. But you know what. Fuck it. Looked cute, won't delete later. Wearing Gap PJ short shorts, a shirt by Merz b. Schwanen, a 15€ straw bag from the local market, the Massimo Dutti flats I discussed above, and of course the Tom Ford sunglasses everyone's been asking me about. Yes, I love them too!
