SUNDAY SNIPPETS
The Digest - Week 41
A very staccato wrap-up of last week!
WORE an old blazer by Alexa Chung’s label. The label no longer exists, but & Other Stories and Mango have a pretty similar ones at the moment. My rugby-inspired sweater is by Sézane, as are the trousers, though you can only partly see them. The sunnies are Persol, and the silk bandana is by Hermès (similar pre-loved version here).
BOUGHT a Maileg Mouse for my daughter Helena. They are so cute and retro – I love the aesthetic. You can find last week’s wishlist here – especially the red jumper and the triangle scarves caught my eye. Need!
SHAZAMED “Help me, Rhonda” by The Beach Boys.
WATCHED – and I know I’m so late to the party – The Bear for the first time! I love the series, and I’m curious to see how it develops.
READ “John Oliver Is Still Working Through the Rage” – an interview in The New York Times. I LOVE John Oliver – you can watch it here as well.
WROTE The Good List II September, where I discuss things I’ve stumbled upon over the past month that created a craving, fascinated me, I bought or I want to buy.
LISTENED to All There Is, the podcast by Anderson Cooper. The CNN journalist started this format after the death of his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, and discusses grief and the deeply personal journey. In the latest episode, he interviews Andrew Garfield - it’s a beautiful conversation.
BOOKMARKED this picture of Monica Ainley DLV, because I adore the haircut. Can you see that I’m growing back my hair? Still have a long way to go – aka the “awkward length” months – but I’ll get there.
OBSESSED over old Jil Sander campaigns with Amber Valletta or Linda Evangelista – so iconic and timeless.
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
Lots of love,
Franzi
