A very staccato wrap-up of last week!
WROTE two fun pieces that I thoroughly enjoyed putting together! One article is all about Audrey Hepburn and the many timeless style lessons she taught us – plus how we can reinterpret them for 2025. The other is a classic spring mood board, featuring 60 pieces that will instantly elevate your wardrobe and get you in the mood for the new season.
BOUGHT new glasses – already wrote about it here – because my daughter tore my old ones to pieces. I hopped on the Miu Miu wagon and just need to get the lenses adjusted to my prescription. Currently in my shopping cart: The 70 Cuck Converse in all white and the Vans “Authentic” in a brownish-yellow.
WATCHED the first episode of Severance (thanks to
for pointing me in this direction). It’s been on my husband’s watchlist forever, and we finally started the award-winning series. But I’m still unsure if my nerves can handle it…ATE breakfast at Bar Basta in Berlin! The place recently opened and is now also open for dinners. Such a fun spot with lovely staff and a great menu!
WORE a Brioni look (which you can see in the picture above) almost head-to-toe (to be precise, I mixed it with a Toteme bag and shoes), as I was invited by the brand to an event celebrating their women’s line, La Donna, at the Apropos Store in Berlin. Felt like a modern-day princess, dressed in the nicest clothes for one evening!
CURRENTLY WRITING the spring Berlin guide with so many fun things to do! Get ready – it’s out next week!
REVISITED one of my favourite albums ever: The 2007 LP by Justice (self-titled) – Phantom Pt. II, The Party, and so many other great tracks that defined countless party nights back then.
FOLLOWED Nicky Reardon on Instagram – he comments on current pop culture and social media trends. It’s like a fun history lesson on topics that, in one way or another, shape the world and reflect cultural shifts.
OBSESSED over a couple of recipes on Instagram, which I haven’t tried yet – but definitely will. My top faves so far: Chilli oil noodles, lemon yogurt chicken, herby Caesar Salad
LISTENED to the podcast by Monica Lewinsky: “Reclaiming”. I came across a couple of interviews with her over the last few years, where she spoke about her life and the obstacles she had to face after… you know, THAT internship at the White House. Ever since, I’ve been fascinated by her – the way she shows such vulnerability and openly talks about the lowest points in her life. I’d love to encourage everyone to give it a listen.
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
Lots of love,
Franzi
